It really, really sucks.
On February 7th, TWO of my friends lost their husbands to cancer. Both had pancreatic.
They don't know each other. They don't even live in the same state.
I'm heartbroken for them. I'm stunned that the same exact thing could happen to two people that I care about, on the same day.
This week is my Radiothon. I'll work about 32 hours in two days to fight cancer in children. My passion for this cause knows no bounds. This week, though, I'll do it for my friends, too. Because, while St. Jude doesn't treat adults with pancreatic cancer, it does kick a lot of cancer ass.
I don't know what else to say, except that cancer really sucks.

I am so sorry to hear this, I'll keep both families in my prayer. Cancer can be so painful emotionally for everyone invovled.
