In an effort to get back into a regular blogging groove, I've decided to participate in Juliette/Faith/Allie's blog challenge.....
July 1st: Canada Day - Yes this is a real thing. Kind of like Independence Day for us in
America. So because one of our lovely hosts is Canadian, we're going to
celebrate with her. Want to know all about Canadia? Pose some questions
about our lovely neighbor to the North and Faith will answer all of them
for you. Ask her what they call semi trucks in Canadia. ASK HER.
Hahaha.... So, I don't really have any questions about Canada and I've only been there once. My neighbor (the wife) growing up was from Canada, so they always celebrated Canada Day and the Canadian Thanksgiving. The husband is American, so they also celebrated 4th of July and the American Thanksgiving. When my brother got wise to this, he'd spend the Canadian holidays over at their house, so he got double the fireworks and double the Thanksgiving meals, lol.

Thank you! I wasn't sure that "Canada Day' was a real thing :)
I am surprised we have commandeered any Canadian holidays the way we took over Cinco de Mayo! Your brother was smart, lol.
