More Giveaways and an Inspiration

Yay! More Giveaways! As a person in Promotions, I'm all about giving things away (as well as trying to win!)....

Erin from Blue-Eyed Bride (if you want to see one of the most beautiful weddings EVER, check her out) is giving away a Valentine's Day set of Hanky Panky panties. Erin talks about them and just RAVES about how great they are. Check out her blog to find out how to enter....

Also, I just found the Misadventures of a Newlywed blog and have completely been entertained by it! She's giving away some Lilly Pulitzer stationary to one very lucky winner! Check out her blog to find out how to win!

Next on the agenda....

As one of my first responsibilities in my new position was to go to a Chamber of Commerce dinner tonight. Actually, it was THE dinner of the year. Kind of an important event when joining upper management in the company, lol. After a slight freak-out session this afternoon, trying to decide what to wear, etc, the event itself went well.

We had a special guest speaker, Andy Andrews. I found him to be absolutely inspiring. He insists that he's not a motivational speaker. However, he had some of the most motivating and great things to say. Not only was he funny and quite refreshingly honest, he was so right. Basically, he talked about recognizing that "the little things" DO matter. "The little things" make up the big picture. So, rather than be overwhelmed by everything going on in life and in the world, try making one small change. Those small changes will eventually make all the difference.

I'm actually going to go pick up one of his books this weekend. I'll let you know what I think! He has a blog on his site... you may want to check it out.

You live in a little city between Tampa and Orlando? That can only be one place that I know of, and I live there too!

Hi Jess! That's so cool that you're in central Florida too and are a dancer. It's so fun to find things in common!
