I have 6, count them SIX, posts started and waiting in draft-mode for me to finish. All recapping various fun things over the past couple weeks. There is at least another post or two that I could start and finish, to add to that count.
However, I've spent the past two and a half days playing catch up. All the emails, phone calls, papers, questions, etc, etc, etc that I'm still wading through after being gone for a week...... it's exhausting. While I'm taking it one single step at a time and working very hard NOT to get stressed out, I'm still super tired.
So, in lieu of working on completing another of my drafted posts (where I have to remember events and think of things to say), I'm going to answer a bunch of random questions that Melissa at My Life and How It's Going posted.......
WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE?
Yes..... my middle names..... Elizabeth after my maternal great-grandmother and Abby after a character on Eight Is Enough.
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED?
I teared up earlier today because someone was telling me something really sad. But, actual crying-crying.... a couple weeks ago.
DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING?
Eh, it's ok. My handwriting is pretty generic. Neat, but not perfect.
As I subbed for lower Elementary for four years, my writing (printing, obviously.... forget cursive) is pretty textbook. Little kids who are just learning to read need neat letters.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT?
Turkey or Chicken (Boar's Head, preferably)
DO YOU HAVE KIDS?
Nope........ I have a bunch of pseudo-kids, but none that I gave birth to or am actually responsible for on a continual basis, lol.
IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON, WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU?
I think so! I'm not a perfect friend, by any means, but I try very hard to be a good one.
DO YOU USE SARCASM?
I do. A lot, actually. Only, most people don't understand that I'm being sarcastic and think I'm serious.
My cousin Heidi usually gets it. TG always got it and would wryly explain to the unassuming person, "She's being a smartass, right now."
DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS?
Nope, they went bye-bye when I was really little. Like 2 or 3.
Special shout-out to poor Heidi. Her 5 and 7 year olds got their tonsils out a week ago, on the SAME day. They are all miserable and she hasn't slept in a week. This is where I desperately wish that we lived closer, so I could help her out.
