HISMSV - Sharks, Chinese, and Cheerleaders

Monday the 6th (and the 3rd day of our vacay), we got up for a day full of plans. If you read about our Sunday, you remember that meals were few and far between. I wasn't about to wait until 3pm to eat, so TS McD's it was.

Oh, we're just walking NYC and The Empire State Building is up ahead.....

First on our list was Pier 17......

I'm not really sure what significance this ship has, but it was fun to look at.....

Brooklyn and a bridge........

Our reasoning for Pier 17 was a Circle Line Shark Boat Ride. It was 30 minutes of speeding around. We'd never done anything like that before, but let me tell you.......... SO. MUCH. FUN............

Trying to avoid the SPLASH!!!

Carousal in Brooklyn....

After our boat ride, we headed to Chinatown for lunch and deals. To be perfectly honest, I am not really a fan of haggling.... or going into weird rooms with a bunch of knockoffs. The food, though.... that I'm a fan of....

If you are ever in Chinatown.... Go to Joe's Shanghai... 9 Pell Street... Getting there is a little creepy, but it's worth it.....

The dumplings really are the best. So yummy!

Soup dumpling.... It's soup in a dumpling. You have to suck the soup out of it before eating the dumpling.

Chinatown, for real..........

We eventually split up. Mom, Jeff, and Trevor did some more shopping and exploring. Us sisters had to get ready for a Broadway Show :)

Sister Date!

I know it sounds cheesy, but the show was SO good!! I was a cheerleader in high school and was a senior when the original 'Bring It On' movie came out. We loved it then, but the play is so much better.

For 'So You Think You Can Dance' fans, Neil (from Season 3 and All-Stars during Seasons 7 and 8) is in it. It was really cool to see him after watching him for so long on SYTYCD!!

One thing I *have* to do when I go to NYC every time is Serendipity. It's a must. Thankfully, NYC is the city that never sleeps and their restaurants tend to follow suit. Jeff and Megan weren't up for a late-night snack, but the rest of us were. It was almost midnight when we got there, lol.

Fffrrrozen Hot Chocolate!!! It is my favorite!!!

Um, Megan and I may or may not have finished ours, plus the third that Mom and Trevor couldn't finish. Allegedly. I'll never tell.
