I know some people love trip recaps. I know some people hate trip recaps.
Mainly, I just like to remember my trips and I can't scrapbook, so I use a lot of pictures and details here.
Anyway......
On the glorious morning of Saturday, August 4, 2012, my mom, stepsister Megan, and I boarded a plane to New York City. When we got to our hotel, the other Megan (also my stepsister... long story) was waiting for us. We made a quick trip to our room to unload and then stepped out into the busiest part of the city....
Times Square......
We are huge fans of the TLC show, DC Cupcakes. They recently opened a store in SoHo, so that was a must.....
The one with a cherry was a Banana Split Cupcake. OMG.... it was wonderful.
Late afternoon, Jeff and Trevor got in. They made a stop in Washington DC the day before and then took the train to meet us in NYC. We had dinner reservations at Tony's.... a family-style Italian restaurant. So, so, so good!!

After dinner, we hung out a bit in Times Square before heading back to the hotel. We were all excited, but pretty exhausted from a day of traveling, etc.
