Friday Questions

1. The last thing I ate was lunch. A pulled pork salad and then some frozen yogurt after.

2. The next thing I'd like to eat is I don't know. However, the rehearsal dinner will be at a Greek place, so whatever I eat will be Greek.

3. The best things in life are intangible. Like love and laughter.

4. Something that makes me supremely and utterly happy is suddenly realizing that I'm having an AWESOME moment.

5. Sports are something I put up with.

6. I miss Heidi and her family..... Meg and her family...... Mia and her family.

7. Right now I am trying to figure out how I'm going to do everything I have to do (like sneak a trip to Target) before 5:30pm.

1. What is your current favorite tv show?

So You Think You Can Dance......... It is tied for my favorite summer show. LOVE it.

My other favorite is Big Brother which starts on July 7th. Can.not.wait.

2. What's the worst haircut you ever got?

I can honestly say that I'm so boring with my hair that I really haven't had any horrible cuts. The younger years in the late 80s and early 90s where I had huge bangs were some bad styling, but that was the time.

I will say that the 2-3 years in college where I didn't have bangs was not the best. I have a huge forehead. It's hereditary. It needs bangs.

3. What was something that you did as a child that you thought you were so cool for doing?

Oh dear. The t-shirt with the knot on the side and spandex-ish shorts. It was THE style and I rocked it.

Also, I went through a phase where I wore shorts and then coordinating tights underneath them. Of course, I had matching Keds that I wore with no socks.

Keds.

4. Do you have any GREAT frugal family fun tips?

No. Not really, but I'll try......

Popcicles made out of Kool-Aid can make a summer.

Sprinklers.

Dive-In Movies at the local rec center.

Make your own Rice Krispy Treats. My mom used to buy huge boxes of Rice Krispies and bags of Marshmallows at Sam's. That one bulk investment kept my friends and I entertained (and fed) for weeks and weeks.

5. Would you drive across country if you had the money to fly?

Unless the whole trip was pointed at the road trip experience, no. I really prefer to fly.
